Nepal on Monday stopped the distribution of Coronil kits, gifted by yoga guru Ramdev’s Patanjali Group, citing lack of proof of being effective in dealing with the Covid-19 virus.
According to reports, Nepal’s Department of Ayurveda and Alternative Medicines in an order said the proper procedure was not followed while procuring the 1,500 kits of Coronil that Patanjali claims are useful in dealing with Covid-19 infection.
In an affidavit filed in the Supreme Court, the licensing body said that it had suspended the license of 14 products manufactured by Patanjali's Divya Pharmacy.. DNA
